The browser extension covers most pages instantly. The desktop app handles the hard cases: YouTube, login-gated, and region-locked sites.
Click the toolbar icon and VidSwipe Lite scans the current tab for playable media, previews each file with a real thumbnail, and saves the one you pick.
Paste a URL, pick a folder, hit Download. VidSwipe runs through a cascade of strategies, in order of likelihood, until the video actually starts downloading.
